Te Arahanga ō Ngā Iwi provides a range of services to it's clients however the Agency's core focus remains the development of Māori enterprise with whānau, hapū and iwi.

Te Arahanga views new business formation as a keystone to Māori development and wellbeing.  We provide entrepreneurs with the skills and resources to establish their own business ventures and provide employment.  These skills can also be utilised with establishment and operation of Māori, Iwi and community groups.

Business Sustainability
It is vital that new business owners are supported through the first months of operation to ensure long term sustainability of the venture.

Community development

Te Arahanga is pleased to have been instrumental in the development of the Te Aho initiative where the collective thoughts and aspirations of Te Ati Awa ki Whakarongotai; Ngāti Raukawa au ki te tonga; Ngāti Toarangatira and Mūaupoko and taurahere Māori have been brought together.  Working together in this way is a powerful driving force to propel Māori development into the future with direction and support.

Our vision is for the manifestation of prosperity, wellbeing and strength that encompasses our whakapapa to Papatūanuku and Rangi and to each other.  With healthy families; skilled individuals and organisations; plentiful natural resources; supported by the wider community and living within kaupapa me ona tikanga Māori.

Project, Contract & Event Management

The agency assists in the development and management of business and community projects and events that promote community and Māori concepts.  Our project teams are able to develop sound project plans, proposals and budgets.  We also assist groups to manage their projects as well as hosting a number of major events.
